The cost for SEP 2024 is $1200 per student. This fee covers tuition, room and board, meals, courses and course materials, any field-trip transportation, and recreational activities.
How Will Payment Work?
Once acceptances to the program have been sent out, a payment link will be emailed to the parent and student email addresses provided on the application. Please be sure that enrichment@umw.edu isn’t going to spam!
A deposit of $300 will be due by April 20, 2024.
The deposit will hold your student’s spot in the program and
will count towards the $1200 total payment.
The remaining $900 can be paid at the same time as the deposit or incrementally with $450 due by May 10, 2024 and the remaining $450 due by June 10, 2024. You will have the option to pay the full $900 with your first payment.
What Methods of Payment Are Accepted?
You may pay by electronic check or credit card. Please note:
ACH (online check payments) will incur a flat fee of .50 cents per transaction.
Charge card payments between $20.00 and $110.00 will incur a convenience fee of $3.00.
Charge card payments under $20.00 and over $110.00 will incur a 2.85% convenience fee.
Is There a Refund Policy?
If your student cannot attend, the deposit can be partially refunded in the amount of $150. No refunds will be provided for subsequent payments as plans and purchases will be well under way by then. Refund requests for $150 must be made by the start of the program, July 7, 2024.
Are there any discounts available?
Students of UMW alumni, faculty, and staff will receive a $100 discount for a total cost of $1100. There will be a space on the application to indicate this affiliation.
Students taking at least one course in the Exploring Teaching track may qualify for tuition assistance. More information will become available soon. Those taking the Astronomy course may be eligible to apply for a small number of scholarships, as well–if your camper is eligible for this scholarship, they will be emailed by our Physics program with an application link.
Currently, we do not have any other discounts available. If we are able to provide merit-based discounts, applicants will be notified of the opportunity.
